Three dark queens are born in a glen, sweet little triplets will never be friends. There dark sisters all fair to be seen, two to devour and one to be Queen.

Magically gifted sisters who must kill each other, a matriarchy that rules the lands, ruthless political power plays, and intriguing world building? Now I am impressed.

Separated at a young age, magical triplets are born to compete for the crown, but only one will win. They live in a

I honestly expected so much from this but I don't know what went wrong - it was just average. Average writing, average characters and a very average plot progression.

FULL REVIEW SOON.

I'm dead. Yupp, I'm dead - or I am dying. I can't quite tell yet. All I know right now is that my mind is spinning, my heart hurts, and I just got the crap kicked out of me by this amazing book. Three Dark Crowns, wow. I expected it to be good, but I didn't expect it to completely turn my world upside down with nothing more than a few sentences and  single revelation. Three Dark Crowns is fantastic, there is no other word for it. Well, maybe that's not true. It is mesmerizing, terrifying, and un

Initially, the story really grabbed my attention but as the story progressed, I couldn’t help but feel that I wasn’t connecting to the story and its characters as much as I would have liked to. I didn’t really feel the connection between the characters themselves either. Some relationships just felt a little out of place to me. I think I was looking for more from the characters (especially the sisters) and their development in the story. I love the world the author has created and the story itse ...more

A fun fantasy read. This book is more of a precursor and sets the stage for the action to come. So far out of the three queens, my favourites are Arsinoe and Katharine.

Least favourite character: Joseph (you know what I’m talking about)

Looking forward to what the next book has in store.
