Teenager Rose drops into a hole and lands on top of a 3000-year old gigantic metallic hand that turns out to be of alien origin. More or less 20 years later Rose is a physicist and finally gets to investigate the still unsolved mystery of that hand with a team of other scientists.

The story is told in a series of interviews, performed by a nameless, all-knowing interrogator and blog entries.

This was a fascinating story told in interviews and journal entries only. We have no idea who the person doing the interviews is. There's a lot of mystery and even more unanswered questions. I still have no idea what's going on but my interest is still piqued! I want the second book now! ...more

This book was ok. Hard to get into and stay focused while reading it. Set in an interview format. You never know who the interviewer is but he is a pompous ass. I thought it would be more on the giant and finding out more about it and it's origin but the book was mostly about politics and the military. That was not what I expected the book to be. ...more
