Good sequel. The eloquence of R's inner thoughts once again sweep me away! Although it is differetn than before. Now that he is human. It was an interesting transition but I felt Isaac Marion does it flawlessly. Each of his books for this series has such a unique but engaging voice. The story can transfix me and I can quickly read through it without feeling time pass. This was a lot longer than Warm Bodies but I didn't feel the length. Two Stars - "It was okay."
So here is my issue...
I loved Warm Bodies. It was a YA paranormal romance with a zombie. This book however seems to have been written for a different audience all together. It reads more like a Dystopian zombie survival book. As a sequel I don't think it works because (at times) those are two very different readers. I happen to like both genres, but as two separate books in the same series it didn't work.
