Rosemary joins the motley crew of the Wayfarer. And off they go. In a chilled, amicable way. If you want a fast-paced space opera, this is not it. Get a nice drink and some snacks and enjoy.

Superb! I hope this far-thinking, inclusive Sci Fi series never ends. Why I delayed in reading it I surely don't know. I read this novel in 2 days and am racing to read the next two in the Series. So capably written, such tremendous world-building (multiply!) and LGBTQ! inclusivity! I won't be forgetting this novel for a long time--if ever!


I am amazed by the hard science, the worlds and cultures, the characters, the extraordinary writing gift.

For a book in which not a lot happens, it was really nice to intimately (in some cases) get to know the crew of Wayfarer! And then I discovered that the series is not a continuous series but a group of standalone novels. That makes me intensely sad!
