A vacation novel--almost like our summer fun reading--is a good addition to the Miss Marple series. Miss Marple took resort vacation paid for y her nephew Raymond. Perhaps he wanted her to get away from it all. What would be the fun for Miss Marple if there were not a good murder mystery to solve. Fortunately, M8ss Marple finds one to solve.

My disappointment--not Miss Marple's: litte or no local color. It is her story, so I must enjoy or not. ...more
