I admittedly not one to often read biographies. They often seem tedious and, quite frankly, dull. I bought this long ago because the great thinkers interest me and I'd like to think I'll eventually learn more about them and understand their lives better. So I bought this and it sat on my shelf. A few years later I get it in my head to make a TBR jar and I added this title to the myriad of papers I tossed in the jar, and then the jar sat on my shelf.
