Potentially book 5/50 of my reading challenge, a memoir. I have loved and admired Cheryl Strayed ever since I stumbled upon her advice column, Dear Sugar, during a low and lost time of my life. Wild was alright. I liked the movie more than the book. The book definitely dragged in some parts. It was interesting but we didn't need every. single. little. detail. I would never have the wherewithal to do something like that but I like reading about others doing it! Cheryl definitely needed something like this to push her through her grief and struggle and I think it worked! Great story--I was pulled into it from the beginning. The author could have benefited from a better editor, though. Still, I'm giving it 4 stars because I enjoyed the read.
