Lots of drugs, some sex, reflection on the bad things people do during war, redemption... Some people got reunited. Some didn’t. Some were healed, some weren‘t.
Let’s not forget the dragon „medicine“. Yuk. Right there is some imagery that I won’t get rid of soon. I need some mental bleach.
And holy cow, I had a Game of Thrones moment. Or two. Or three. They are certainly not pulling their punches.

2020 review- This one had a few shockers (is that even possible in this series now?!). An unexpected bad reaction, a sudden death, and more. Trust no one in this volume. Unexpected allies, turning on each other, new partners and yet still more! Plus dragon spunk. Never knew I would need to read and see that! lol.
The last page was a real shocker in particular. I have no idea what to expect next in this series. It is colorful and engaging on every page. But I must remember to not have it out in p ...more

I like the split story of the Freelancers who are searching for Alana and Marko. Gwendolyn, Lying Cat (LOVE Lying Cat!), Sophie, The Will. Even though they're the "bad guys." Priority lines are very blurred in this series, which is great. Keeps things fresh!
