Absolutely magical.
A good friend recommended this book to me and my only regret is that I waited so long to actually read it. In all honesty it is probably not something I would have picked up on my own, and that would have been a shame. The only downside (in my opinion) was the back and forth in time. I realize this was the way the author decided to tell the story, and maybe the only issue was that I listened to it as an audio book (but Jim Dale read it and he is amazing at narrating books). I had been meaning to read this book for years. I had my copy on the TBR shelf for a long time. When I heard the story was mostly written during nanowrimo I had to finally read it. The writing is beautiful. The only problem is the story was slow in places. I found myself skim reading to get to the next part. This
