This simplistic tale of a shepherd boy who goes on a quest in search of treasure and his "Personal Legend" has a huge world-wide following. When I finished the book I felt a surge of happiness. No, not because I was done but because I was satisfied with the book. It is simple reading, that is true. But I did take something from all the self-help messages even if they aren't particularly life changing for me. Everyone said I would love this book. Three of my four cousins have read this book and have there own signed copies. My Cousin Emily and I are on the same page, We HATE this book. She had to read it in a class, But I was reading it for fun. It might have to do that the book is very redundant and slow moving. I don't really even what to give it one star, but I will.

Gets hella preachy at the end there. Maybe I don't want to be a good person or live a life of usefulness, or whatever.
