Some bizarre and interesting things happen, but it's not earthshaking like the jacket note! Most books won't even get published if there isn't at least one horrible event!

I have to admit that I liked parts of the book, and the dual perspective did work for the most part. But I found the ending rather disappointing and a little too "pat"

Very good book. Would've liked it more if one of the main characters was at all likeable or if I could have sympathized with her. Otherwise, the idea was interesting.
