What Members Thought

Our girls' local library book club selected this book for their December 2014 discussion, but I didn't get around to it until now. It's an engaging, fast read and I like that the overall tale is broken up into three Parts and separate tales. The stories have a melancholy feel to them, even with the light-hearted, tall-tale quality of the story.

I need to reread this. One of the books I read for class in seventh grade, it "takes place" right by my high school. This and "The Lovely Bones" are the only two books I know of that take place around there.
