I read this whole series with my children. Zachary especially enjoyed it. We were very excited to watch the movie after we were finished and it is too bad they did such a disappointing job making the movie. Zachary just didn't understand why so many things were missing. It was a great opportunity to explain that the reason books are so much better the films is for that very reason. He is now very excited to start our next book.

I really liked this series. Took me to a place where magical creatures were real.
