Another book that I just do not understand the hype surrounding it. Yes, the premise was very neat but as other reviewers (not enough of them in my opinion) have said the plot is so thin it is easily spotted immediately. I kept going hoping that there would be more substance as so many others have loved it. Instead it was filled with silly details and sections that were laugh aloud funny but not in a good way. I absolutely loved this book. The perfect combination of family history, social history, mysticism and spirituality with just a touch of a mystery.
