This is the second book in the Chronicles of Claudette series by Jorge Aguirre and Rafael Rosado.
It's a fun and adventurous tale that breaks gender stereotypes and features brave female protagonists (one princess/diplomat wanna-be and a warrior wanna-be), a cowardly pastry chef little brother, and a stinky dog.
