Of the three Commissario Brunetti books I've read so far, this is my favorite. There's no murder in this book, but the mysteries are intriguing.
Some of the plot twists are convoluted, but overall it's a fast paced read and a fascinating story. And as a bonus, I feel like I get a little taste of Venice, Italy every time I read one of these stories. ...more
