Fun to listen to. Very Azizy.
This is not a humorous book, and as long as you don't expect it to be you should enjoy it. It's research on modern romances and relationships and Ansari did a great job taking it seriously and making honest conclusions. On top of that, it is funny at times and has a lot of interesting information. If you're the kind of person who listens to the Savage Love podcast you will like this book. I liked this book. I think Aziz Ansari was really smart to not just make it a comedy book about romance and to enlist a sociologist and other experts to analyze data and come to conclusions about our romantic lives in present day. Was any of it earth shattering or changed the way I felt about romance in the modern times? No. But it was interesting, particularly the bits about love in other countries. It is worth checking out, although I wouldn't necessarily put it at the top of my list.

The audio book enhances the experience. Listening to Ansari talk (read) made an entertaining book fabulous.
Some interesting factoids and Ansari has a fun tone in the book.
Big fan of the book - much better than expected! Thought it’d just be Aziz telling funny stories but turned into a real look at dating in the modern technological age. Actual studies and interviews intertwined with his own stories made for an addicting and quick read!
Kinda underwhelming, tbh.
