This is one of my all-time fav reads. I remember reading chapter one on amazon and being brutally struck by it's immediate and shocking violence. I just felt compelled to read it.

I loved this book. From the moment I picked it up, I was not able to put it down. Although, I have to say that I now have a new fear of sinkholes... lovely.
Good story, not worth all the crazy hype. If you want a sweeter what happens after death story read Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin.
This book really creeped me out, and not in a good way.
