What Members Thought

Funny, sobering, and sincere. This story is a poignant look at modern American motherhood, from the stretch marks to the time crunch. With self-deprecating humor that is reminiscent of Erma Bombeck, the author paints a picture of a stressed-out, very pregnant Shirley who finds a new way to give of herself through a new friend with a mysterious past. It's a very quick read and I enjoyed the story. I'd be willing to read more books in this series.
