I really enjoy fairytales and any retellings of them. This one caught my eye because, until the Disney movie, you don't hear much about the frog prince. I enjoyed some elements of this book but the love that develops between Emma and Jack is hard to believe. If he never annoyed her to begin with or if they softened towards each other sooner, it would have been more believeable. Overall it was a decent story and I think my preteen nieces would enjoy it. ...more
