This is the first of the Christie mysteries featuring Tommy and Tuppence. I’d read it before. It’s a fun, post WW1 mystery with stereotyped characters and some of Christie’s outspoken conservative politics. (It was first published in 1922. The first one in Agatha Christie's series starring Tommy and Tuppence, this one lacks a bit of pizzaz. Tommy and Tuppence start a detective agency and immediately get in over their head.

This is the first adventure/introduction of Tommy and Tuppence. They are such great characters, and the storyline clips along at a good pace. For one of her early works, this one held my attention.
