What Members Thought

I just started reading the books in the Agatha Raisin series this year and I am enjoying them. I rather like the pugnacious middle-age woman who is apt to being flustered and doing the wrong thing. The stories are short and entertaining and the characters are interesting and I want to learn more about them. This was a fairly strange tale, but interesting nonetheless and it's a good, fast summer read.

This series just gets better & better. Agatha Raisin is quickly becoming a comfort read for me.

Pretty good. I feel bad for the goldfish, though.

Agatha is tasked at setting up a garden AND solving the murder of a woman that she isn’t completely friends with.
While she and Lacey curl up to one another, the two of them joke about solving the local rash of garden crime.
I love Agatha, and it helped that I also really enjoy the tv series on Acorn. Cannot wait for more!
