This is a pithy book on personalities - each chapter describes a person's character in eighth grade through high school and the author asserts that said personalities persist. The author is very proud of his witty repartee with the reader and his punny word choices are quite humorous at times. He scatters Shakespearean quotes liberally throughout the book and tends to have a literary slant to his narrative.
