This book went faster than Twilight because Edward wasn't in most of it and we didn't have the "Stay away, I'm dangerous" dialogue repeated a billion times. But then we had Bella pissing and moaning, waiting for the black hole to envelop her. Blech. I like Jacob, but I swear Bella has to be the dumbest girl on the planet. I keep reading because I want someone to put her out of her misery. JUST KILL HER ALREADY!!! I also wish that Stephenie Meyer would be a bit more consistent. It's called keepin

I actually enjoyed this book much more this time than I did the first time I read it. I think knowing more about Jacob from reading the rest of the series made it easier to get over his annoying habits. Still loved the story! - 09/17/09

I felt the same way she did as I read. The middle had me reading until later last night than I should have, I was thinking I'd be a really late night. And then the book switched and I didn't feel the need to finish instead of sleep so I put it down. Don't get me wrong I'm still excited to read book three (will start as soon as I get off the computer) but something about the end doesn't sit right with me. We'll see! ...more
