The best thing I can say about this book is Flavia de Luce, the heroine. She's so vibrant, lively, mischievous and maybe the sole reason of why people will keep reading this series. I know, I'd be looking for the next one just to read more about her misadventure

It seems to me that this book is one that people really like or they hate it. I would be on later team.

I got 50 pages into this book and gave up. It just didn't hook me. I thought this was going to be great, but Flavia was a bit of a flake and I skimmed for a bit and read the end. Disappointing.

The reader for the audio was great! Fun, lighthearted murder mystery. Love the chemistry-obsessed kid detective 😁
