What Members Thought

Living with a friend's family, rich with the father involved in politics, in England the main character Nick, from a poor family, explores his sexuality. The story unfolds through three different periods, each a few years apart. Many topics are tackled including the differences between classes, sexual orientation, and race. Nick seems to have similar experiences with different men involved in his life through the story which seems to be the main point that stayed with once finished the book.
