We'd read some books that feature heavy themes as part of We Read, so I wanted to switch things up with Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time, and I'm so glad I did.
I'd never read the book, and my interest was piqued with news earlier this year that the film adaptation, directed by Ava Duvernay, would make her the first black woman to direct a live-action film with a budget over $100 million. I enjoyed the book, can't wait to read the rest in the quintet, and see the film next year. ...more

There is a reason why this book is a classic. So simple, yet such a great story.
