Simon is my hero!
I picked this edition because I think this is the one I read in middle school. It wasn't exactly shiny and new even then.
We actually watched the movie, didn't read the book, so I got it from the library myself and read it. It was pretty intense and I think I may have been to naive at that point to pick up the subtleties.

I had a little trouble buying the story line. I already knew kids aren't saints so the book didn't reveal any shocking truths for me. Maybe I should have read it in high school like everyone else.
