Finally got done reading this tonight. I thought it was a beautiful read, sad and meaningful but so lively at the same time. Scout is so much fun to read, and I love how she's so indignant sometimes to her own detriment. I love how she constantly insisted she could understand everything just as well as Jem.

I enjoyed this book as a teenager, but not nearly as much as an adult. No wonder it is a classic.
I just finished reading this book for the first time in over 20 years, and it's every bit as wonderful as I remember it. An engaging, beautifully told, with some of the most incredible writing I've had the joy of reading.
