Adichie's stories swirl around in my head... and always her authenticity shines through, while her unique prose, just the right balance between delicate and powerful, weaves together the stories of these lives... highlighting Nigerian-American experiences which revolve around racism, patriarchy, immigration and colonialism; stories with a very strong sense of place and community; stories with abrupt endings which become the signature of Adichie's voice.
