*I had to borrow a friend’s Kindle and she’d downloaded the book for me at the end of March, so any changes made to the content afterwards wouldn’t have shown as it was disconnected from the internet. I know the author said on her blog at the start of April that she had to do some rewrites and then upload those, but as the book came out in September 2021, it couldn’t be major. Right?

This book is not what I was expecting. After starting the book, I discovered that there was an update to the publication where portions had been rewritten. I decided to move forward and complete the version I started and then do a comparison to the update. I’m reading the update now, so my final rating and review will come once I’ve completed it.
If I were to rate just this version, I’d be very torn. I think I’d give it a 3.5 rating because, while the story is intriguing, it ...more
