This is one of those crazy instances where the movie was better than the book 😳🤫😶
Movie aside, I did thoroughly enjoy the book. The characters are fantastic and a look into the life of the rich and fabulous. I loved so many characters in this book I can't name them all but I'm so glad to have read about Charles and see how him and Ingrid intermingled together. I will say that the descriptions of all the labels and designers got a bit tedious but it made sense in context. Great read and I look for ...more

Much like the title, this book is crazy. Crazier than the movie, somehow. It's fascinating to delve into Asian culture and everything that comes with it. The whole story is a whirlwind, which portrays its characters and their lifestyle perfectly. It's an addicting and beautifully crafted drama about culture and family, and I could not put it down.
