This was predictable like most of the YA novels I've read..the same old romantic story with it's usual ups and downs and ending in the same predictable way. The only difference being that the main character is a transgender. Having said this, I won't deny that it was a sweet story. Andrew always knew he wanted to be a girl. This was a very quick read."If I was your girl" is the first book which I have read where the lead is a transgender.I wish some events in the book were more explained though I really liked how the flash backs were written.This book focuses on the fact that trans people can have a life like everybody else which isn't the case in present world.
