a re-read of this series is just what I was looking for. this series tugs more and more at my heart with every read.
In this beginning of this book Rose prepares to go through her guardian test but is sad. She misses Dimitri. Janine joins her and shows her support. Rose excels in her guardian test then she receives her promise mark.
It's been two and a half months since Rose returned from Russia/Siberia and she's been going to school, being the best she can be. She's started receiving love letters.
