This book caught my eye first, but then it was suggested that I read the Cassandra Palmer books first before reading this series, and I'm glad that I did. This is a very enjoyable book. I love how sassy Dory is, and how irreverant she is with Mircea. It was also nice to learn more about the "family" and Louis-Cesar.

Fantastic, great pacing, wonderful characters (even better if you've read her Cassandra Palmer's series) and a riveting plot. Cannot wait for the sequel(s).
