What Members Thought
At first when I started to read this book it was not very captivating. This is a time-travel romance and I was thinking "How is a person from present day California going to get to the Norselands in 955 AD?". Of course, this information is explained a little more further in the book. In the beginning I liked Joy's character but, somewhere down the road she started to get on my nerves. Brandr was typical romance novel hunk; handsome, tall, muscles on muscle, etc, etc. The romance was inevitable;
