I too was disappointed that this was entirely about Max and his group. At least at first. It was well worth the read. I think it's probably just max and friends catching up in time with roman for their eventual meet up. That's not to say it's just filler. I found the plot of this book just as good as the first three. ...more

Was surprised we shifted to Max's view for this book, the complete novel no less, compared to the previous books where only the last chapters were Max's, but it still threw me off as I was expecting Roman/Krain's story to continue. In the end it was more good stuff from the author! ...more
