Jack Vinson
Too much fourth wall

Interesting story of a journalist playing an immersive RPG x not the story of someone who is transported INTO the game. The story was good enough, but I found the jumping in-and-out of game mechanics a bit off-putting.

This book was promoted at me, so I was already disinclined to like it. There were some continuity problems and a few small typos. Probably not going to bother reading further into the series.
