This was a nice, quick read. I had several frustrating/annoying issues but I got over them, and I ended up enjoying the overall story. Even if parts were obvious and predictable. Very predictable. So predictable that I was glad the kindle e-book didn’t have x-ray enabled, so I couldn’t verify my predictions and spoil the story.... Not like I’ve ever done that before....

Probably one of the best LitRPG stories out there right now.

Good character development, good story and world elements, and good internal logic.

Looking forward to the next one.

the gods play a game with people. This is one person finding a way out of service to a dark god using the rules of that game and the adventures that results in.

Great Read

Enjoyed the LitRPG story. The twist and turns kept the story fresh. The character class were a surprising choice that worked for the story. The hints and clues in the story were resolved in the end for a great ending. I am looking forward to the next book in the story.
