I really loved this book, I'd enjoyed the first book in the series but this 2nd picked up the pace and was even better then the first. If you've ever played an RPG or MMO I think you'd like this series, be sure to start with the first volume.

Very much slice of life feels. Feels like MC Mayan just wandered around doing stuff at 5mph but then the climax came and it was suddenly 60mph then 100mph. Overall enjoyable listen, but some boring and off putting moments.
Idiot ball moments: Unnecessary hero and villain monologues (which were mocked by each party only to be done in turn: hypocritical and dumb)
More cons: tedious descriptions of the grannies (which was by design and yet not enjoyable to re ...more
