The bathrobe wearing swashbuckler returns in the newest entry in the series. Darwin once again ties his bathrobe closed(thank you, could you wear some pants?) and strides forth at the head of his own army. Many of the secrets hinted at in the last two novels are revealed, but like many authors, this one leaves you looking for more.

The book is far from perfect, but you can definitely see a positive progression in the authors writing. The biggest issue of this book is that it's hard to tell if it'

Passive Skills: Soul Sever (Level 1)--Killing enemies grants one charge. Killing enemy players grants ten charges. If an enemy player is killed the enemy player will lose one level.

This was one of the messages received by Darwin at the beginning of chapter 4 of Volume 1. This doesn't come into play at any point in time of the series and considering that the he attacks more and more players then why would they continue to give away EXP like this?

Ha I knew it. That bastard!. This is a so a "THAT BASTARD HE KILLED KENNY!" moment although happily it didn't take. Our main man can't be with out his naive squeeze. Hmm interesting, now what happened to the Niece? Come on Charles Dean you can't just introduce the existence of such a character and then don't even include a least a little blurb form their point of view... Also what ever happened to those bastards from the First book? Hmmm they simply vanished... All Hail the Great Demon Spoon Lor ...more
