Marked Improvement Over First
I just say I like the second book much more than the first. I understand that slavery and brainwashing were an important part of the plot and establishing Kevanis add the big bad but the rapey overtones made the first book seriously uncomfortable. Thankfully, the introduction of the succubi not only smoothed things over but added another layer of betrayal and intrigue. Great book

Less intrigue than the first book, but another great story. Looking forward to the next book already!
