This was a surprise find and read. I happened upon this work in an endless search for something else to read. I just wasn't feeling all my other 10 books I was in the middle of. I need something new and this came along at the perfect time for me. Idea of a world game with gods is not ground breaking but this take gave such a refreshing view on the idea. This book seemed to be 60% character statistic screens and 40% story which is unfortunate since the book is so short. I did like the story so it was disappointing that it wasn’t allowed to progress more.
Liked this one a lot. I was not sure when i downloaded it from Amazon Unlimited, but it turned out to be a compelling story line and kept me reading. The MC was not overpowered which was a nice change in this genre of book. A bit too much of the stats/abilities was repeated too often but that was the only real negative I found.
Fun, but way too many charts
The book was good, but short. Also, there were way too many charts. Every aspect of battle had chart prompts detailing dodge, damage, resist, etc. It really slowed down combat and broke up the realism.
