Ok but could have been better
This book was one big info dump. From culture to family situation to magic system. In the end it got a little boring. There were only 3 action scenes in the book for heavens sake!
That being said I felt like it has potential. I like the magic system and the cool growth potential. Just wish we got to see more of that. Will probably read the next one.
