Good book!
Hmm I liked this story less than Arena, but it was still a amazing. The entire new world is a culture shift for the main character, he don't know his own abilities enough, the political climate, the social repercussions of him being here. I don't think this series will be done in only four or six book; sound like a formula for a decalogy. The guild he is part of is made of misfits and hard case and loved it. This is an interesting series. Its an odd take on mana manipulation. Wonder where the author will end of taking this story.
Escapism and wish fulfillment abound. But sometimes that's just what I'm looking for in a book. It was a fun read and I'll read the next one.
