Not sure why I was addicted to this book, but I was. In many other books the main character is some type of prodigy that is either foretold or something not seen in a gazillion years. Then this "all powerful" character runs around trying to learn their powers while being chased by a few bandits. This book is not like that. The main character here has power and uses it. I wonder about his choices on how he uses it, but it was still fun to read.
