This is another book (series of books) I was introduced to by my late wife (we were married 34 years before she passed so there were quite a few books we ended up sharing, sometimes to the surprise of each of us. I introduced her to things like epic fantasy she "introed" me to things like, well Preston/Child or Koontz). I am surprised not only that I liked it (them) but that I decided to give it 4 stars.

Thoroughly Entertaining!! Extremely different from the movie, not that the movie was bad, it was just a different "beast" than the book. This title was also exciting because it was the first Pendergast book, and seeing how this character helped move this story was really interesting. Now, I really look forward to reading the second half to this title called Reliquary. ...more

This is an excellent start to one of my favorite series. It starts out much like any other myster / thriller, but it doesn't take long to realize that there's something not human creeping around the museum at night. Loved the museum setting and the science used to figure things out, however unrealistic it may be. ...more
