This was a new genre for me, not something I would have picked off the shelf in the bookstore but was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the story and how wonderfully written it was. I didn't know exactly where this story was going and it just pulled me along on the journey that the main character was going on. Carter writes scenes that are rich, visual, and full of feeling. In one word...impressive. ...more
