I was inclined to give it three stars but the rating system says that means I liked it rather than it was OK. It's an OK book, not bad, not great. Worth a read if only out of curiosity to see what sells in large numbers and gets made into films.

Written in Dan Brown's style that keeps you captivated as the plot unfolds. There was a lot more details in this book relative to the complexity of the plot, and this distracted from the overall story for my reading tastes.

A wonderful book and the discriptions of Washington make me curious and I just want to get on the first plane and come visit and see these places.

First, I have to admit that I sometimes have trouble with suspending disbelief. Despite some truly bizarre plot lines, Brown did a pretty good job of allowing me to do this. Where this book collapsed was in the final 50 pages where, after moving at a breakneck pace, it suddenly slowed to a virtual standstill and gave me way more information than I needed or wanted. The entire ending could have been condensed into 10 or 15 pages and I would have liked the book much better and would have given it
