The Waverley family. The sisters Claire & Sydney. Sydney's daughter Bay and Evanelle Franklin their distant relation (cousin). I also can't forget to mention the Apple Tree because it was just as much it's story too.

My only complaint with this lovely book is that is seemed so short. Otherwise I loved the theme, the characters and the twists to the love story. I just would have liked a little more, which is a good thing since with a bad book I cannot wait until it is over. I am looking forward to reading more from Sarah Addison.

I wanted to read the sequel and after 5 years needed to check if I still felt the same about this book as back then.

Happy to say I was soooo glad when I was having a hard time putting it down. The story and characters seemed strangely new and familiar at the same time. Now I'm excited and nervous about the sequel! ...more
